Neuroanesthesia

In the neuroanesthesia department we provide anesthesia for craniotomies for patients with intra-cerebral tumors, cerebral aneurysm clipping, VP shunt, EVD and control of epilepsy. In the emergency department we provide anesthesia for extradural hematoma surgeries, decompression craniotomy and ICP monitoring.

The division of vascular neurosurgery is a center of excellence in the management of patients with vascular lesions. Patients with arteriovenous malformations, cerebral aneurysms, and carotid artery stenosis are treated with endovascular coiling modalities.

The neuroradiologists perform neuroradiographic procedures primarily for intra-cerebral or spinal vascular lesions. These include arteriovenous malformations, aneurysms, and carotid artery stenosis. In addition, vascular lesions involving the periphery are treated.
